About the Role

We’re looking for a new Project Coordinator to help deliver and develop our Gig Buddies project in Brighton & Hove.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, training and supporting volunteers

  • Matching volunteers with people with learning disabilities or autistic people based on shared interests

  • Facilitating group sessions, including training, advisory groups, and social events

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about inclusion and social justice

  • Brings warmth, energy and enthusiasm to their work

  • Has strong organisational skills and meets deadlines

  • Can work both independently and as part of a small team

  • Has good administrative skills and enjoys managing a varied workload

  • Brings a creative and positive approach to their role

Experience working with people with learning disabilities or autistic people is beneficial, but not essential if you have the right values and are keen to learn.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We particularly welcome applications from people of colour, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and others from underrepresented communities.

Why Work With Us?

Stay Up Late is a small charity with a big impact. We are recognised nationally and internationally for our innovative and inclusive approach to supporting people with learning disabilities to live the lives they choose. You’ll be part of a dedicated, friendly team working to create meaningful social change.

How to Apply

To apply, please:

  • Complete our standard application form

  • Record a short video (around 60 seconds) introducing yourself and answering these two questions:

    • Why do you think you’d be great for this role?

    • What makes your heart sing?

We're not judging video quality. It can be filmed on your phone. We just want to get a feel for you as a person.
